Garden of Earthly Delights

The triptych Garden of Earthly Delights is constructed to match the dimensions of Hieronymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights (1490–1510). The black and white image shows the floor of the world’s largest flower auction house in Aalsmeer, Holland, after the day’s trading has ended. In evidence of the trade activity, the tarmac of the giant market hall features line markings and numbers and it is scattered with discarded sales chits, remains of packaging, and plant debris.
