Limb

Limb is a series based on the Apple iPhone, cast in solid black glass, nestled in a cradle of wax, and packaged inside a black protective box. Reminiscent of the technological device’s form and packaging, the glass phone weighs in at around 400g.

Unlike the consistently perfect, identical, industrially manufactured commercial items, each of Limb‘s raw, unpolished form shows individual traces of its making and the residue of its casting form.
