Double Blind T-Shirt (white)

The Double Blind T-shirt  is a multiple on which a Snellen (or eye) chart is rendered both in typescript and braille, using mirror foil and monochromatic, but haptic “puff paint.”

The T-shirt accompanies the public artwork Double Blind that translates an eye chart into braille by using dome mirrors to emulate the raised dots of braille script. The installation’s oxymoronic premise: those who can see the work likely don’t read braille, and those who read braille can probably not see the work.
